Assignment:
Make some net art.
In other words, make some original art exclusively for the internet.
Requirements:
Your project should include some animation, and/or an interactive element.
The user should be able to intuitively interact with your net art, without instructions.
The net art project should have at least 3 html pages (frame sets can count as 2 or more pages).
Example: divide.html
You must give your project a title.
The project should be uploaded to a server (before the due date).
Your project needs to be saved on a CD, and turned in at the time it's due.
Suggestions:
Unlike your other projects, the website does not need to have any text.
Experiment! Use things we've talked about in class, and/or due some research.
Have fun, and try something you haven't done before.
You can use JavaScript, or Flash, anything goes.
If you have difficulty focussing on one idea, then make more than one project.
Timeline:
This week: Come up with an idea (or ideas), and get started on your project
The 2nd week: Finish the project. October 29 : PRESENT A ROUGH DRAFT
3rd week : Finish Project C, TURN IN A CD on November 5.
