Assignment: Make an animated video, with sound, using Adobe Flash.
    In this animation there are (at least) 3 characters
  Note: these characters do not have to be human beings 
Demonstrate Flash animation competency
    -Use & reuse symbols
    -Use layers
    -Control tweening
    -Use a button
Options: Music video, silent film format, animated comic
    There must be sound (try not to use sound effects or voice-overs)
    The animation should be 30 seconds or more
    Make a "play" button to start the animation

    -You will turn in sketches & storyboards, showing the progression of your ideas.
    -The final animation should be a self-contained .swf, embedded into a web page. 
    -It should be uploaded to a server.
  
    -The .fla , .swf, and .html files must be turned in

    Type up an idea for your "Project A"
    - Save it as a .pdf file
      -practice working with Flash 
  
  next week: (Week #4)
    1) Finish drawing 3 Characters for your Project A 
  Note: their moving body parts need to be on separate layers
  
    2) Find a soundtrack for your Project A 
    * Start bringing headphones to class
  
    3) Draw a very rough storyboard
  
 3rd week: (Week #5)
    Animate your characters, add sound & a button
  
    Week #6
  Project A is due
  
what you will turn in on  the due date:
    1) Have your site uploaded to a server before class.
  -Flash .fla, .html & .swf files should all be turned in.
    3) Please turn in storyboard
-Use of Symbols & Layers (evidence that you have Flash under control)
    - Must fulfill the script (must have at leats 3 characters)
    -Have a button that must be clicked to start the animation 
  
    As always, it must look good:
    -Good drawings that reflect the content of the work 
    -Great composition, great design, et cetera...
  
    A, B,  or C? 
  
    attention to detail, and excellent work gets an A.
    above average work gets a B.
    doing the assignment gets a C.
